The darker side

There are sobbing hearts
With joyful faces
Facade of smiles
Show sadness traces
There are cloudless nights
And mortals sigh
When drugs and intoxicants
Don't leave one high
There are tar spilled days
Golden sunlight peeks behind
Lead hard hearts
Cruelty driven minds
Tears of blood
Stinking bodies of ours
Mortality is due
Previous birth scars
And drunk are we
With pride of shame
No identity, no existence
Without words and fame
The faults in fate
The highs and heights claim
How pitiable we are
Serving each other, a personal version of Cocaine
Sour truths we taste on our tongues
Naked to the Absolute
But vague trials to hide
The loudest to mute
The what is my existence meant for?
'an identity not worth one
Is what you are sent for'

  1. Maybe I can't express my love for you through words but evidently what I can say is that this poem is a perfect ode to all the humans. An ode to all the people who consider themselves to be no less than a living dead, but what they forget is that every broken thing can possibly not be brought back to original but can obviously be joined with this glue of love and care.💕
