Snapshots of the Photographic Industry

Consider asking a person about photography. They would relate this art with modeling, painful heels and a plethora of ‘not for common people’ clothes. But is this what it is? Definitely not. Photography like any other art is a wondrous creation. Buying a lens worth Rs. 25,000 and posting your selfie with ‘swag’ as a caption is not what photography is meant to cater. As any aesthetic would say that this beautiful, lined with mysteries world is an art and it deserves to be stored in the deep museums of our heart. Moreover, since humans painlessly are steadily sowing their greeds in this land of ours, the dream to make this world evergreen is a yet to be achieved mission. So, photography adds as a catalyst to reduce this pain of ours to later reap what we sowed. Funny, no? It stores the beauty of lowlands, steeplands, highlands and wonder lands but it does not forget to capture the undying and unrivalled essence of sea. Multi-talented! Beauty lies in the eyes of beholder. Well said! But that doesn’t mean you are going to put grass on fire just because you like it!?!

Photographs are deceptive. But, maybe not. Even moonlight doesn’t tell you the truth or your blemishes. Or maybe you find beauty deceptive because your eyes can’t see it. Unlike any other hobby, photography is what drives people enthusiastic and encourages nature love more than earthly life. You might not need cocaine to fuck yourself up when human emotions can do the same. But, you definitely needs those lens to give you an experience of lifetime.

Sailing through this journey of lies, have you ever considered of storing your lost pleasure? Make them lifetime, framed memories, maybe! Then, there is where photography comes. The silver bromide getting decomposed into silver and bromine is what stores our emotion, the feeling of togetherness where the photo is a mere precipitate.

You may wonder what caused me to write this. But, maybe all you need to know is if you don’t believe in an art, don’t try to spoil its creativity, it is mere waste for you while it is lifeline for other.

Happy Birthday Harleen Kaur!

Wish you reels of happiness and best moments. :")
